STEP 1

GET
PRE-APPROVED

Pre-approval is a process where a lender reviews your financial and credit information to determine if you’re eligible for a mortgage and, if so, how much you can afford to borrow. Here are the steps involved in the pre-approval process:

  • Review your credit report
  • Determine your pre-approved amount
  • Receive a pre-approval letter

STEP 3

FIND THE RIGHT HOME

With your pre-approval in hand, you can begin shopping for a home within your budget. Taking into account your preferences and requirements, I will diligently search and compile a customized list of potential properties. Subsequently, we will arrange showings for the homes that pique your interest, offering you a firsthand perspective of your prospective future residence.

STEP 4

MAKE AN OFFER

Once you’ve found a property you’re interested in, together we will craft a strong, compelling offer and engage in negotiations to secure favorable terms for you in the home-buying process. The offer will include details such as the purchase price, any contingencies or conditions that must be met before the sale can be finalized, and the closing date.

My goal is to assist you in finding the perfect home that meets your needs, preferences, and budget.

STEP 5

HAVE THE HOME INSPECTED

We will arrange for a home inspection to be carried out on the property. This will help you identify any issues that need to be addressed before you make a final decision. During this time, we will have the opportunity to negotiate repairs or request that certain conditions be met before the sale can be finalized.

STEP 6

PROPERTY UNDER CONTRACT

At this stage both you and the seller have agreed to the terms of the sale of the property, and have signed a legally binding contract that outlines those terms. You will need to provide a deposit, known as an earnest money deposit, which shows their commitment to the purchase. This deposit is typically held in an escrow account until the sale is finalized.

STEP 7

FINAL DETAILS

If a mortgage is involved, you will need to satisfy the loan appraisal requirements and obtain homeowners insurance for your new property. Homeowner’s insurance pays for losses and damage to your property if something unexpected happens, like a fire or burglary.

STEP 8

CLOSE THE DEAL

We will conduct a thorough final walkthrough within 24 hours preceding the closing. Afterward, we will proceed to the closing table, where you will sign the necessary documents, receive the keys, and officially become a proud homeowner!
